Fortunately, Kousar Shabbir, Zakat CANNOT be used in the way you describe, and MUST be given directly to the people oncerned. There is nothing remotely Islamic about a bank. you are saying that collected Zakat should be used to set up institutions of riba. May Allah protect us from doing such a thing

currently microfonance concept to elimanate the povert through disbursment of loans to poorest person on highest rate is in practice in the moderen countris including muslim countries.i as a muslim women is of the view that all muslim countries should use the zakat amount to help the needy persons not as a aid but to hlping them to creat a new channels of employmen.s i request all the mulim countries to establish a bank as a nti\re of mocro finance bank and distribute these funds through this bank to all muslim community poorest poples,with tranprant manner
